Human Genome Project
The Human Genome Project was a research project with the plan to find the sequence of chemical base pairs that make up dna that is in a human's body. Another goal of this project was to map the genes of the human genome. The project was completed in 2000 by the UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Group. But the project originally began in 1990, and was started by James D. Watson at the U.S. National Institutes of Health.
